The SWAT team consists of officers and is divided into an entry team, snipers, and K-9. Team members train regularly each month and attend specialized training in weapons, tactics, and explosives. SWAT members are also required to pass mandatory physical fitness tests. The SWAT team runs as two teams and operates under the command of the SWAT Commander and two team leaders.
