Youth Defensive Driving School
Defensive Driving School (DDS) is offered to anyone 21 years old or younger who receives a moving violation but has not had a ticket or completed a driving class in the last three years. A youth who receives a moving violation must attend court on the assigned court date to request permission from the Judge to sign up and complete driving school within 60 days.
Once the class has been completed, the instructor will issue a certificate that you must bring back to the court clerk's office prior to or on the next court date provided. Once the certificate has been received by the Court Office, the ticket will be dismissed.
CDL holders are not eligible for defensive driving school.
