Employment Process
Once the job opening date closes:
- Applications are reviewed and the best qualified people are selected for the interview process.
- Once all interviews have been conducted, selection is made.
- The selection is placed on the Board Agenda for Board Approval.
- Board approval is contingent upon favorable results from pre-employment physical, driving history, and all other pre-employment testing and paperwork required by applicable law and policy and procedure manuals/handbooks.
Police/ Emergency Communication Dispatch Employment Process
- Applications are processed.
- Applicants are scheduled for a physical test and a written test.
- If these tests are passed, applicants will be interviewed by a panel.
- The best candidates will be selected.
- Background checks will be completed
- Selection will be made and placed on the Board Agenda for Board Approval
