City Offices Remain Operational, But Are Closed to Public Access Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) March 18, 2020
CITY HALL ADMINISTRATION:
The City of Olive Branch remains open for business and our staff is available to serve our citizens. However, until further notice, public access to City Hall has been closed for the health and safety of our employees and citizens. Services will not be affected, and we are still open for business as usual. The only change is the way we have to conduct business.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT – PLANNING DEPARTMENT – CODE ENFORCEMENT:
Our office is closed to the public until further notice, but our staff is here to serve you.
Please utilize the white drop-box under the awning for:

Although our staff continues to work as usual, our office is closed to the public until further notice.
All Business License applicants should contact the Business License office at 662-892-9238 with any questions.
Please utilize the drive-thru for conducting business with the Utilities Department. Our staff continues to work as usual. Forms are available on our web site www.obms.us/city-departments/utility-billing/
as is the option to pay your utility bill. These same forms are also available at the drive-thru.
The White drop-box, under the awning, may be used if you are making a payment with a check or money order. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE CASH PAYMENTS IN THE DROP-BOX.

PARKS AND RECREATION:
Our Parks and Recreation Department Office will be closed to the public until further notice. Our staff will continue to work as usual. All scheduled activities through the Parks Office have been suspended until April 1, 2020. This includes tournaments, recreational events, practices, and other organized gatherings. This is subject to be extended, depending on the status of the Coronavirus pandemic at that time.
Even though the playground and park office are both closed, we encourage you to enjoy the various open areas offered at our beautiful City Park. The Nature Trail, Olive Bark Park, Tennis Courts, Walking Track, and all three lakes are open for fishing. We just ask that you take extra precautions and exercise social distancing.
The Senior Center is closed until further notice to protect our employees and our most vulnerable citizens. The CDC indicates that our seniors are the most at risk for the coronavirus. Our First Responders will continue to serve in their respected roles. The safety of our employees and the public is our first priority. Each of these departments are following CDC and MSDH guidelines to minimize the spread of the coronavirus while offering the best service to our citizens.
