The City of Olive Branch officially broke ground on Wednesday, October 8th, for the future Fire Station No. 6, located on Center Hill Road. The new facility sits on a 2-acre property and is anticipated to be completed in 2026.

The new station will be built on a 2-acre site that was donated to the City by David Halle and is projected to be completed in 2026. Mayor Ken Adams and the Board of Aldermen expressed their enthusiasm for this project, which represents a significant step in fulfilling the City’s commitment to providing firefighters and EMS teams with a safe, modern workplace. It also reflects an ongoing investment in the health, safety, and well-being of all residents, businesses, and visitors.
Once operational, this new facility will make Olive Branch the eighth city in Mississippi to operate six or more fire stations.

Those in attendance at the groundbreaking included Mayor Adams, the Board of Aldermen, representatives from Renaissance Group and W&T Construction, Fire Chief Bill Clark, City staff, and members of the community.
