Garbage Recycle CollectionWaste Connections provides residential garbage and recycling collection in the City of Olive Branch. Use the tool below to find your scheduled collection day, sign up for reminders and notifications regarding delayed service due to holidays, and a calendar view of your scheduled collection days. Holidays that affect Garbage Pick up

When a designated holiday occurs on a weekday, household collection occurs one day later than normal for the remainder of the week. The following holidays are designated holidays through the calendar year: 

  • New Years Day
  • Martin Luther King Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

Recycling

  • Plastics Number 1 and Number 2 only
    • Transparent: Soda and water bottles, as well as food jars, like peanut butter and mayo.
    • Please, no other clear plastics, like clamshell packaging. We only accept Number 1 plastic bottles and food jars without lids.
    • Translucent only - no color plastic: Milk, vinegar, windshield washer fluid, etc.
  • Cardboard: Corrugated cardboard boxes only:
    • Corrugated cardboard boxes have three layers, two flat with a wavy later in the middle.
    • Please, no food-soiled pizza boxes or wax-coated freezer boxes.
  • Mixed paper and paperboard:
    • Paperboard (cereal boxes, cracker boxes, soda boxes, etc.), newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, envelopes, brown paper bags, and paper egg cartons.
  • Aluminum cans:
    • Beverage cans only, please.
